There really isn't a lot to say about US...we simply want to let you know that God has laid it on our hearts to help you think about, and pray about, the world He created.
We have discovered an unique resource, Operation World books and website, and are using this site as well as our personal testimonies to point you to the Lord's work of prayer for the world's peoples, one country at a time.
We know that where two or more are gathered, the Lord is there and hears their prayers...imagine if hundreds or thousands prayed on the same day for the same country; the miracle of God's power would quickly become apparent.
Our vision is for a million or more young people, gathered at youth meetings around the globe, to share the vision with each other, catch that vision and commit to praying daily for the country of the day...and for as many others, young or old, to pray for this vision and the gathering of the youth; as well as, for the country of the day.
We are a ministry of Trinity Baptist Church in Indio, CA.
In 2002, our pastor, Dave Gordon, met another pastor named David. David is passionate for missions, and prayer. He introduced Dave to the book "Operation World". They begin meeting together to pray for the "country of the day" in the book. Dave felt a powerful peace from God that this time was the most eternally powerful part of his day. David moved to Mexico to become a missionary, so Dave begin to look for another person to pray with. It was then that the Lord gave Dave a burden and calling - to get as many people as possible to join him in praying for the "country of the day".
That is the purpose of this site. Please consider joining us in praying for the world.
